KUMASI
My name is Shake-A-Vel
a.k.a. Greeen Hornet better known as Gangsta Green. I was born and raised
in Brooklyn. It was cool growing up in B.K. The only thing that was bad
was we were very poor! So it led me to a life of crime at a very young
age. I got the name Shake from playing basketball back in the days; I use
to put shows on the court. We represent N.A. Rock, which stands for
Nostrand Ave. From Fulton Street and Nostrand Avenue up to Lafayette Avenue
across to Tompkins Avenue which was called Dodge City back in the day a
neighborhood filled with cold hearted killas and snakes -- that's home to
me.
I got the name Green
Hornet from staying on my grind when it came to hustling. I had my first
born (Tyke) when I was only sixteen so I had no time to play games. It was
do or die for my twin and me who had been through thick and thin with me;
that's my little homie.
In the year of 1990 I really started taking rap
serious as far as becoming a rapper. I studied the art of writing in the
back room of my apartment in the projects (NYC Housing Development). I
practiced my writing skills for years as if I had been possessed by it. It
took at least six years just to master my style of how to flow over beats
and not miss a note. My whole thing was to be sharp like I was in
basketball. I wanted to be the best at what I did. That's just in me.
Still deep into the
lifestyle I was forced to live, I eventually became a victim to that
violence. I was stabbed one day On The Hill in CT. This beef and
retaliation went all the way to NY. We went to hit them and they came to hit
us. It was a bloody war. Being in a shoot out with one gun against like
seven niggas with four pounds and nines. I got up out of there with only
three gunshots to the legs and one in my wrist. My man (JR) and I got hit at
the same time. He suffered broken bones and had to have a blood transfusion;
but the amazing thing is I am still here to talk about it and we both
survived.
A couple of guys from NY
and myself formed a new group called Oppress Nation. We used that because of
all the trials and tribulations we were facing. I recruited Casine Kelly
a.k.a. (Twisted) who has been nice for years. I decided to go solo and
changed my name to Shake-A-Vel. I still had Casine Kelly to run the group,
which we changed to O.P.N. and would no longer deal with Oppress Nation. It
was time for a change. O.P.N. now stood for On Point Niggas.
I kept my head up high and
refused to be a failure. Now I was on point with every move I made; I had
one problem, which was an open court case (drug possession). While out on
bail, I fought the charges for a minute but decided in order to move
forward, I had to deal with the consequences of past choices. The lowest
offer was 3 to 6 years upstate. I was a predicate felon with a history of
crime. I decided to cop out and do my bid upstate to get my mind right. My
main focus was to be successful when I came home. My #1 producer is Buddha
Monk who kept it real and wrote me while I was up north. He said “Yo Horn
(Green Hornet); I got you when you touch down.” That's my mother fuckin dog
right there. He's the only nigga in the industry that accepted me with open
arms; he's definitely under-rated.
I did three years and now it's on and poppin
In January 2003 I paroled out and went straight to the studio with
Buddha---we put it down real heavy just as planned. Soon after, I started
my record company, Dri Lann Entertainment with the help from my family.
My EP featuring song titled “No Fear”, dropped to set off my album that’s
coming soon, “Bring It Home” by Shake-A-Vel/O.P.N. www.drilann entertainment.com
Biography
In the words of K a n y e W e s t, "the music is good, it's different and
dude is a hustler." According to C o m m o n, "A lyracist is what is
important to, that's what is going to make Kumasi Stand out from other West
Coast Contemperay Artist."
Kumasi is a role
model. His music exudes purpose, depth and good vibration. His music has
always created its own atmosphere. In a time where many societies youth are
searching for guidance while struggling to find purpose in life, music molds
culture. The youth need an alternative. Kumasi exemplifies that alternative.
Don't let the smooth taste fool you. Kumasi is from the mean streets of
Compton. Compton is known to chew up and spit out youth who do not have the
support of a gang. Kumasi made it out of the grime of the ghetto, dusted off
his shoulders to find himself shining. Kumasi has never claimed a gang and
does not smoke, drink, or use offensive language. Kumasi encourages youth to
be a leader instead of following gangs. Honor parents, uplifting women and
finding your purpose in life are consistant focal points in Kumasi's lyrics.
He has the recipe for the ills and struggles of what hip-hop culture is
starving for: Mind blowing lyrics, positive messages and great tracks. This
first prize winner of the prestigious Temecula Film and Music Festival can
be heard on the "Thug Angel" Sound Track, a documentary about the late Tupac
Shakur as well as "Sounds of Spirit," along with peers such as Common and
Andre 3000.
Raised by his Mother and mentored by his father, Kumasi survived the toils
and turmoil of the infamous streets of Compton, California to graduate from
San Diego State and become a middle school teacher in South Los Angeles.
Already gifted lyrically his experience with youth and their exposure to the
material driven and sexual topics of popular music inspired Kumasi's
intention to be the alternative for popular culture.
With his soothing voice and pleasant yet sincere appearance, Kumasi, has a
distinct way of blending his thoughts of love for GOD, women and social
rehabilitation to make music that is appealing to the masses. "My goal is to
change the complexion of the industry by taking hip-hop culture back to its
roots of good times, love and meaning," Kumasi states.
Kumasi's portfolio is made up of a remarkable display of melodic tracks and
well thought out lyrics. Collaborations include industry heavy weights
Kanye West, Adam Levine, Dave Hollister, The Game, Raheem Devaughn, and Mos
Def.
Kumasi sees his music as a tool for change as well as a way to give charity
to those in need. "I pray to come to the aid of homeless children and
orphans. I make music so I can use it's resources and status to benefit
GOD's creation," says Kumasi. Kumasi is being the change he wants to see.
While investing in his own career as a songwriter and artist, Kumasi is just
as motivated to create change right away while on his way to further
success. Kumasi has performed in West Africa, been on tour in the United
Kingdom, headlined the Climate Change concert for the world government's
meeting in Copenhagen. Alway giving back to the city which birth him, Kumasi
teamed up with artist The Game to give away toys and clothes at the first
annual "Christmas In Compton." There is no doubt Kumasi is loved and known
by diehard fans from Australia to Dubai. At this point in his career he has
layed the foundation for a successful mission as a philanthropist with
uplifting music as the theme song to change.

D.U.I.
D.U.I.’s Bio
D.U.I. (Direct Underground Influence) was born David Andrew Stephens. He was born and raised in Atlanta Ga. and grew up in various parts of the city, mainly in East Atlanta and Decatur. Son of a drug kingpin, and very savvy “numbers” and business man, and a mother who graduated high school at age 16 and attended college. D.U.I. was born with the mental tools to excel in whatever field he chose. Unfortunately, that field became the streets.
D.U.I.’s father in the 70′s
By age five, his parents no longer together, D.U.I. was exposed to many hardships and adversities that a broken home creates. A very versatile lifestyle he had brothers, sisters, cousins and grandparents who were both white and black. Bouncing between two worlds he experienced riches when living with his father and poverty with his mother who never could regain her footing after parting with his father.
When D.U.I. was fourteen his father was sentenced to 20 years in Federal prison. However, he did instill in his son a good work ethic by allowing him to work at several businesses he owned. D.U.I. was often angry and felonious throughout his teens, resulting in an 8 year prison sentence at age 19 for aggravated assault and several other charges. The Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) had ceased the previous year allowing inmates to earn a college degree, so while incarcerated D.U.I. exhausted the prison libraries. Having served 7 1/2 out of 8 years, D.U.I. was finally released in ’03,but old street ties lead him back to prison in ’06 for a 1 year sentence. It was in that year that D.U.I. finally matured and “grew up”. He read educational books such as ‘Guns, Germs and Steel’ by: Jared Diamond and ‘The Tipping Point’ and ‘Blink’ by: Thomas Gladwell Thinking back now, he says, “The one year was harder than the seven and a half!”.
D.U.I. grew up listening to Run-DMC, Whodini, N.W.A., Spice 1,Tupac and BIG. He says they were among his favorites and the most inspiring. He wrote his first rap at age 17 and when friends heard it they were amazed. It was their reactions that made D.U.I. realize he had a gift. Throughout his stays in confinement he honed his skills by jumping in ciphers. A natural at writing, a talent acquired from his mother, along with his life experiences and his self education give D.U.I. a unique edge he exudes when in casual conversation and on the mic. D.U.I’s nonchalant but confident charisma is evidence that he will be a significant presence in the music industry. With a flashy smile and dazzling eyes he will undoubtedly continue to capture the hearts of the ladies. D.U.I. IS Atlanta’s next self-made Capo!

Vito, the self proclaimed CHAMP, was brought into this world by way of McCormick, SC in the midst of the hip hop revolution. His hypnotic beats, cleaver rhymes, and driven personality are creative characteristics that hold true to this Leo born artist. August 18th, 1984 was the day Vito was blessed with innate gifts that he has embraced, developed, and is now ready to share with the world. Vito began his music career at 11 like many other artist, in the church. He led the congregation through his rhythmic drum beats and melodic keyboard harmonies. His entrance into hip hop came through Master P’s “Ghetto Dope” CD that his cousin introduced him to when he was 13. The hard hitting bass and catchy hooks of southern rap strongly impacted his music and bread the talented artist that he is today. He states " I used to sneak and listen to P's "Ghetto D" in my room every night. My pops is a preacher, so you know that kind of music wasn't allowed in the house." At least until another Pastor, that goes by the name Pastor Troy took him to a whole nother level. He decided to pick up a notebook and pin, sit in front of his brother's keyboard, and teach himself this art form that had reached so many people. He says " I remember listening to Field Mob for the first time and thinking to myself , man these boys are unstoppable. They're the ones that thought me how to use punch lines in my verses. I used to have a high pitch voice when i rapped, and people would say that they liked my beats, but didn't like my voice. I guess i was just hardheaded because i was still making songs and still doing shows. i was a work-a-holic so to speak."
Vito tha CHAMP was introduced to Relevant Conduct Entertainment at the end of June 2007 and was signed in the beginning of August . When your beats are as undeniable as Vito’s, and your rhymes are as unique as his, you’re destined for greatness. RCE knew this instantly that he would be an incredible addition to the label. He is that and more, his collaborations with Skitty MC on “Hennessey on Ice” and “Candy Paint Drippin” are destine to be platinum hits with more in the making every day. When you add all his solo rhymes and tracks plus his partnerships with label mates Met Bronson and Skitty MC, he can only do right creating classic hits for years to come. In October 2007, RCE signed with Akon’s label Kon Live/Interscope joining the major labels and establishing their position in the music industry with talent that can not be surpassed. Vito will be a key player in ensuring their legacy.

“Live from Bedford Stuyvesant, the livest one…”
“Up jumps da boogie, da boogie jumps me…”
Hip-Hop culture made its initial impact in the basements of urban youth circa the summer of 1979. Rapper’s Delight brought this new sound to the mainstream, and ever since then, innovative rap collaborations have created fresh sounds that have taken the genre in exciting, unpredictable directions. The Hip-Hop duo Physha P (Fish-Uh-P) is ready to take their place among Sugar Hill Gang, Run DMC, Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy, and groundbreakers Missy Elliott and Timbaland. With earnestness and confident style, it is their mission to create “NEXT Level Hip-Hop.”
Physha P is an alternative/Hip-Hop group with a sound as eclectic as their unusual name. Group members Arman “Bebe Boohgz” Dixon and Semu “Wa Peace” Walusimbi are an unlikely pairing brought together by focus, drive, and a love of all things music.
Like many of music’s great duos, Bebe and Wa Peace met in the schoolyard, in Upstate, N.Y. the foes-turned-friends (over a girl, of course) put aside their differences to form Universal Treat. The band of five eager grade school Hip-Hop heads evolved into a three-man high school group known as the “Hot Spittaz,” consisting of Bebe, Wa Peace, and high school friend Chris Mendez. But tragedy struck the budding super group, when a car accident claimed Chris’ young life. Bebe and Wa Peace kept moving forward with the spirit of their friend in their hearts, making their hunger for success even stronger. So began the story of Physha P.
With such diverse talents, Physha P brings a brand of excellence that has set them apart from the average MC. Wa Peace takes great pride in his Ugandan ancestry. The self-described “Champion of the Underdog” founded RPM (Rhythm Poetry Music), an organization that unites and preserves African culture. RPM continues to spread awareness to a number of causes from the Jena Six to the genocide in Sudan, using music as beacon of hope. Bebe is not only a star on the mic—he is also a star athlete. He led the Division 1 Men’s Track team at Sacred Heart University for all four years of his college career. In addition, he was the 2008 400m NCAA East regional champion, and participated in the 2008 Olympic trials for the 200m and 400m dash.
For now, Physha P is signed to independent record label Da Fam Entertainment, and they are taking New York by storm with their energetic live show. Their music is generating buzz on MySpace, as well as a growing legion of fans worldwide. Like their track “Goodbye” perfectly sums up: “This is all a feeling, playa.” Physha P has the potential to impact the Hip-Hop game forever, and to put their stamp on youth culture.
Lightning and thunder clash, but together, they create a powerful unexplainable force. Physha P is ready to make history as an undeniable musical force. In their own words, “they make the Hip-Hop music the Hip-Hop generation should have made.”
Lovely, a.k.a. Lovely Monay, was born and raised in Houston Texas. Introduced to music at the young age of 5, Lovely found her calling for the love of music by watching her Father and Uncle Sly whom were musicians for several bands. From that experience, she started singing, dancing, and just putting on a show at family reunions and other family gatherings whenever the chance permitted.
At about the age 11, Lovely began really taking her music seriously. Lovely frequently watched and kept a close eye on singer J Reale as he would sing and perform, who had lived next door to her Father and had worked with successful groups such as H-Town and Joy. J Reale started a group featuring Lovely called “Crazy Little Kids” which she was rappin’ and singing with two other girls. The group started performing and did a show at a local skating ring with “Street Military”, an independent group in Houston that was well known back then. But Lovely was eventually pulled from the show by her Father because of the rawness of that show that had seemed not to be in the best interest of Lovely at that time.
Lovely eventually made her way into the building of Houston’s entertainment hot spot, the Arena Tower, thanks to her associate Big Rich whom had a rehearsal studio there. Also there at that time were successful labels such as Suave House Records, Big Time Records, and Rap-A-Lot Records. When time permitted her for breaking away from her dance and singing practice, J Reale and her Father would take Lovely to Big Rich’s studio, Ultimate Sounds, where she would bump into celebrity hopefuls at that time like R&B group “Girls Tyme” who is now known as “Destiny’s Child.”
Unfortunately, Lovely’s group “Crazy Little Kids” never got to the point of recording music and was eventually terminated. At the still tender age of 15, Lovely took her singing career in her own hands to avoid further disappointment. J Reale would then introduce Lovely to a producer by the name of Big Pookie, who became the first producer to actually record Lovely even though she did not yet have her sound style, and name mastered.
As the years past, Lovely was learning her craft of music and style. On a visit to Atlanta she unexpectedly met Maurice Star who had created New Edition and New Kid On The Block. He invited Lovely to fly to Minneapolis the following day to a studio where she was introduced to a group named Four Letter Word, a project Maurice was producing at that time. She acted as a producer’s assistant for the group and soon after realized that she could produce and write her own music. Before, other writers and producers wrote Lovely’s music.
After a 3-day stay in Minneapolis, Lovely traveled back to Houston and continued her music and began to work with local producers such as Burning Bush, Sam Beats, Southern Fried Entertainment, Caviar, who worked at the Hit Kitchen, Pookie Samples, and Jhiame and Da Assassinz. She also did a voice over for R&B group Silk on a track entitled “We’re Callin’ U” and a photo cover for local Hip Hop artist Mr. Coup.
Due to bad deals and offerings, Lovely reconstructed herself and decided to start her own record label, Heart 2 Heart Records. Now Executive producing, writing, and arranging her music, Lovely has her sites set on her debut album entitled “Multiple Personalities.” Her first two singles, “Trippin” and “I Am” (Who’s Dat?), are sure to be the new bangers of the clubs, radio, your favorite ringtone, iPods, and blazin’ from your trunks.

The Real Camilly
By: Ms. Rivercity
The ability to adapt in different situations calls for great skills and patience. Cameron “The Real Camilly” White has become a master in this ability. Born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in many others including Memphis, Tennessee, Cam has not only learned how to adjust to physical environments, but also how to develop as an aspiring hip-hop musician. With a quick tongue and fiery delivery, his uniqueness has aptly been dubbed “Wyld Style”.
Early in his life, Camilly discovered he was attracted to music with a purpose. Inspired by the intricacy of classical melodies, he learned to play piano at the age of nine. This would become the foundation for his production efforts. Cam says, “When I was about twelve years old, I had no producers and I got so mad at how bad people were doing beats so I just taught myself how to do it. I started using little programs from the internet and I got good at it.” Cam’s involvement in spoken word poetry, coupled with his keen ear for instrumentals, eventually evolved into something extraordinary. “I used to be a poet back in the day,” he says, “people started telling me to get into the rap game. As far as how I put my words together, it’s very poetic.” Dealing with internal frustrations and sometimes feeling like an outsider, Cam uses writing as therapy. “It’s liberating, kind of like flying. Everybody has problems in their life; everybody has complications, but with this I get to escape. A lot of tension builds up in me sometimes and I get to let it out. It takes away a lot of tension and pain.”
He’s often been compared to Twista or Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, but as his name suggests, Camilly is able to switch to slower patterns similar to those of Kanye West and Snoop Dogg. The power to exhibit multiple dimensions has earned Camilly thousands of loyal fans from California to New York and even overseas. With help from the internet, he’s been able to reach listeners all over the world. “I’m not even known on a major level yet,” he says proudly, “but because of Myspace, I have people telling me that I’m their favorite rapper. Having support from fans like that is the greatest thing that’s happened so far.” Myspace.com is not his only tool for promotion though; performing locally and regionally has also been beneficial for his buzz. In high school, Camilly won second place at a talent competition for the Ritz Theatre. Since then he has gone on to open for acts such as Lil Wayne and Young Dro. He was the artist showcase winner of the 5th Annual Southern Entertainment Awards in 2008 where artist from all over the states came to showcase their talent for 3 days. This accomplishment prompts an impromptu performance at the Award Show the following day which enable him to perform in front of hundreds of people showcasing his talent.
With an accomplished resume quickly building, Cam has one more challenge he’s prepared to face – successfully operating his own company. Burnin’ Witta Passion Ent. was co-founded by Cam alongside his partner Christopher “CP” Pollock. “We started BWP awhile back,” he explains, “I was in a group called Up-N-Flamez and we played off the words from that. It grew into a movement. I’m not going to sign anyone who hasn’t done as much work or had as much hunger as I did; they have to be passionate. I have to see them doing what I did.” Studying moguls like Jermaine Dupri, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z and Russell Simmons has increased his drive and business savvy mindset. “I’m trying to be a CEO now,” he says. His first project released under BWP featured 18 songs of both original material and mainstream remixes. Dark Angel was distributed as a promotional item, which proved to be more beneficial than selling it for profit as it reached a wider audience.

L.M.S.: LAST MEN STANDING
Numerous contenders have suffered a knock out in the ring of West Coast hip-hop. To be the LAST MEN STANDING, it takes a great deal more than one-hit talent. California’s Central Coast hip-hop duo, L.M.S., is laying down the competition with a stealth one-two knockout punch of TALENT, and DRIVE. L.M.S.’ latest single, “GET YA NUMBER” has been sparring on the airwaves at (KPAT) 95.7 The Beat, and (KWWV) Wild 106, and is positioned to put up a fight to achieve national acclaim. L.M.S, composed of producer and rapper Terrell Berry, a.k.a. T.B., and rapper David Willkomm, a.k.a. Prospect, have been training hard for nearly a decade to be the champions that will resurrect West Coast hip-hop. L.M.S. has already fired up the ring for artists like Joe, MIMS, Ying Yang Twins, Sean Kingston, Slick Rick, and Devin The Dude, to name a few. Fresh off their European Tour, including Paris, Belgium, and Holland, L.M.S. is left-hooking the fans with slick dance rhythms, and flows reminiscent of hip-hop’s elite. Their influences, Tupac, B.I.G., Ice-Cube, DJ Quik, and Jay-Z, have inspired them to make heavy-hitting beats with a new style that will unite fans all over the world. On the heels of their recent feature on DJ DMA and Snoop Dogg’s mix tape, L.M.S. is pumped for battle with their single, “GET YA NUMBER” available on ITUNES, and soon to be released mix tape. Their white-hot energy on stage, knockout sound, and ill flow make them a promising bet for their thriving fan base, and the industry. L.M.S. will be the LAST MEN STANDING, and you can bank on that!!
WHERE 'DAY AT?
Digital LikWid Entertainment executives, Bruce & Horatio Gordon, recorded a project for tremendously talented artists, a duo of brothers from Detroit, Michigan.
After all the production work had been completed and all legal release documents had been signed, the young artists and their entire family disappeared. Rumors abound regarding the reason. Some say that their parents joined the FBI’s Witness Protection Program after witnessing a high-profile crime with possible mob involvement.
Others say that the parents left their urban environment to join a religious cult, either in some remote American area… or maybe the rainforest or jungle on some island or on another continent.
In spite of these confusing events, Digital LikWid Entertainment decided to honor the talent and hard work of these young artists by releasing their music anyway. This four-song EP is designed to announce the upcoming album which will be released soon! We hope the world will enjoy their music. We also hope we can locate them someday, so that they can take their rightful place in the world of musical entertainment. But, on the street, the question remains: "Where Day At?" (TM)

YOUNG CHYNA HILL
Young Chyna Hill is back with her latest maxi-single "Haters" and "Ball With Stars" feat: Villian and Melody. Young Chyna Hill took over the Miami Underground and club scene with "Shake It" and "Get Dirty" feat: Toobe, Gemini and Mr. Murphy. She has since done numerous radio, club, concert and community events. Chyna has opened for DJ Unk, David Banner, Plies, Blood Raw, Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Bobby Valentino, Ball Greezy, Brisco, Pleasure P. and a host of other hip-hop playas. Much Luv to all the Underground DJs, NC and SC, Atl, Fla, Philly, J-Ville, Ocala, Gainseville and Detroit that believed in Chyna from DAY ONE.
When she steps on the scene it's "Lights,Camera,Action!"
Attending DJ Khaled's Birthday Bash, Rick Ross' Birthday Bash and Trick Daddy with Dunk Riders' party. Also, Chyna appeared in events involving Lex Promotions, NworcsRadio, Amp P., Gen 2, Bigga Rankins, Zeus Promotions, Blackbird Productions (LB) and more. Mad Luv goes out to The Gate Keepers, Baby Face, Disco N The City Boyz (Gainesville, Orlando, Ocala in-the-house representing their hoods).
The 1st single "Haters" represents Chyna's struggle with enemies from the hood that never congratulate and appreciate. "I got a lot of females/brothers haten on me. Why? I don't know but my Daddy said, F'em!" says Young Chyna Hill. "I'm all about luv for my hood and everybody trying to play this game and get paid. That's real talk."
The 2nd single "Ball With Stars" gives Chyna an opportunity to speak to her audience and share her "DREAM" to be successful in the music industry and shine in the spot light with industry personalities that have influenced her journey to the "GRAMMYS". On this track she is unplugged as she freaks the hook for the WHOLE MIAMI. Yeah!
As a 21 year old VP of an independent label (50 STAXX RECORDS, INC.), Young Chyna Hill keeps it real. Don't get it twisted just because she is fat in the ass, slim in the waiste and cute in the face; she is straight gutter 4real. Wow! Oh!
Tell a friend there is a new hip-hop diva in Miami. Pass the word and you can say that I was apart of the movement that introduced YOUNG CHYNA HILL to the HIP-HOP WORLD.
"I got a dream sister/brother......,I'm tryn to be rich!
Hey! Haters! There she go! There she go!"
There's a new heavy hitter in the game, coming hard with his head bumpin', club bangin' tracks straight out of Atlanta. Buck, the humble grandma's boy and self proclaimed “non-industry person, just an in-the-street-person” is taking his previous successes in producing to the next level with his upcoming single, “Knock, knock.” Born just outside of Atlanta in 1987, Robert Hill, JR aka BUCK, found himself in a constant state of renewal: first losing his mother when he was only 2 and his father at age 7, he was then raised primarily by his grandmother. She also passed away when he was only 18. With each loss, although devastated, Buck started over and refused to fade away. With a "never let 'em knock you down" optimistic mentality instilled at an early age, Buck's desire to succeed only grew stronger at every loss. Growing up he lacked interest in sports and the drama and temptations offered to him at his high school. He needed something to wrap his mind around and keep him out of trouble; he found it in music. He quickly became infatuated with his ever growing hobby: producing. At the age of 15, he began dabbling with music with his cousin Pimpin' of the Franchise boys. After “switchin’ skills” with Pimpin’ for a few weeks, Buck was invited to collaboration with Franchize Productions. Working with the likes of D4L, Fabo, Lil Yola, Meathead, Parlay and the rest of the Franchize family, Buck’s infatuation with music only deepened and after the completion of a 12 track compilation, “Superstar Click,” and the taste of success with “White Tee” Buck was completely hooked. As Pimpin’ and the Franchize took off, Buck was left to find a new project. Armed with his CPU, he moved on to work with a new group coming up in the Atlanta club scene, Trap Squad. It was with Trap Squad that Buck produced his first beat that made it to the radio, “what’s happening” in 2005, and again with their success taking off, Buck was left to find yet another project. His grandmother was one of the largest influences on his outlook on life, her recent passing had left Buck homeless and at his lowest point, struggling to break into the industry he loved, he continued to persevere. In the midst of the “Oh I think they like me” craze, Buck partnered with Parlay to produce and develop the hook for the next big hit: “lean with it, rock with it.” His bittersweet love affair with the industry began to pay off, receiving his first paycheck, from Virgin Records. Ever thankful, Buck nostalgically recalls the moment he realized his dreams were finally coming true, “[music] took me across the sky!” literally, “I got to get on an airplane and to soar above the clouds; that’s where I want to stay.” In 2006, Buck teamed with Frank Liwall, Sandra & James Azor of the TRN Entertainment records to begin working on his solo project. With influences ranging from Nelly and Doctor Dre to Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige, his new album reflects his broad ideals and scope on life. “You gotta make music for the people. It can change your mood, so I want to create music for everyone and every mood.” His new single “Knock Knock” is expected to hit the stores and airwaves (release date). Bucks hit making skills continue into late 2008, with the latest release by Dem Franchize Boyz, 'Our World, Our Way', containing two songs which credit Buck, "Dealers & Killers" and "Roll Ya Arms.

Straight @ You
With “2unes” as your stage name, and if I were a betting woman, I would put money on the theory that jazz guitarist North Woodall can play his hind parts off. Mmmm, I’m feeling lucky right about now… any takers? On the real tip, my point of view is much more than conjecture. Having sampled the goods, if you will, speculation turns into truth.
Primarily self-taught, it was at the age of eleven that his mom introduced him to the guitar and a love affair with music that has stood the test of time and many challenges was born. In his teens, North studied the playing styles of Ernie Isley, Santana, and Joe Walsh, among others. Hard work, determination, and a natural gift paid off. North began playing R&B, entered several talent shows and, as a result of his burgeoning proficiency with the guitar, he was quickly established with known groups in and around Dayton like The Delvones and Round Trip Ticket.
Mississippi bred and Ohio led, not my words ya’ll, Woodall, followed his internal guide and headed south to Atlanta. There, he continued to hone his skills and his cup over-floweth when opportunities came a-knocking for him to share the stage with his homies, funk masters Lakeside and The Ohio Players, along with Roger Troutman and Zapp, Roy Aires, Millie Jackson, Tom Brown and Will Downing.
And the blessings continued to flow. 2unes has become a staple on the Atlanta music scene appearing in venues from the Ritz Carlton to Wind-Down Wednesdays at Centennial Park, bridging the generation gap with his unique music blend of jazz, R&B, and hip-hop. “I work for the listener and my music is designed for them. It is important to me that I give them what they want.” Woodall went on to say that he defines his musical style as being like a gumbo. “I can’t be put into a box [musically]. I’m not one thing, but many things bringing people together from all sides of the music spectrum.”
Having worked on a variety of projects with local talents like Shorty Red, Roy Rowland and Joseph, 2unes has struck the right chord in a season of his own. In 2005, he released his debut album, Hot & Cool, which captured the essence of musical greats After 7, The Beatles, Mother’s Finest, and the late Luther Vandross in an eclectic mix for groove time alone or to party-hearty. And, in August of 2007, Woodall came straight at you with his sophomore release, Straight @ You. North put new faces on old favorites like Earth Wind and Fire’s Let’s Groove and revealed a piece of himself by contributing five original compositions to this project. Straight @ You has tight arrangements and banging guitar solos with great licks. It doesn’t get any better than that.
And that stage name … “I gave that to myself because I knew so many tunes and never repeated selections during a set.” Hmm, like I said earlier. With a stage name like “2 unes,” whatever the reason, you best believe that the dude can play that there guitar. Bet?

Jaqo met Shannon (Slam) Lawrence with Bad Boy Entertainment who enlisted Jaqo as a writer for Bad Boy. There he wrote for various up and coming artists for about a year in a half.
Mid 2000
While working with (slam) and writing for Bad Boy Jaqo met K-Fam in Atlanta Ga. K-Fam became somewhat of a mentor for Jaqo. It was only a matter of time before Jaqo signed to K-Fam’s Stay-Tuned Entertainment under a production deal for 2 years. While signed to K-Fam, Jaqo completed an album and worked with various artists (signed and unsigned) with the company.
Late 2007
Jaqo worked with Kevin Wells (K-Wells) and J.C. Redd who had signed to his company at the time. Jaqo wrote two songs for the young, up and coming rapper from Decatur, GA. Jaqo also worked with Scott Free, a hot producer from St. Louis, MO. They completed an album together where Scott Free brings that mid-west pile driving beat to Jaqo’s catalog. Their sound is considered to be “Dangerous for the Hip-Hop”.

Someone referred Jaqo to the company through MySpace (go figure).
Feature Project ~ Dew Point
Jaqo and Serkan, who is also the main producer, make up the group called Dew Point. The meaning behind the name is: the point at which water is abstracted from air and creates humidity. Serkan represents water (Scorpio) and Jaqo represents air (Aquarius). It also describes the vibe of their music which is a clever blend of alternative Hip Hop. Steaming tracks with Jaqo bringing you lyrics on a much higher level!

YESS
I AM!! YESS born and raised in the ATL and after serving over a decade in prison, YESS is bringing forth a sound and presence that needs to be seen and heard. Undeniable in the truth that is spoken, the spiritual, poetic, political and gangster lyrical content and swagger of this artist are heartfelt and controversial. YESS has most definitely been through the struggle, growing up in one of ATL’s roughest neighborhoods-Summer Hill, he did whatever he had to do to survive. He has always been a hustler, leader, ladies man and a bonafide gangster. Living and breathing the struggle, brought out a different side to the man we come to know as YESS. A side that in some cases people would call truly dangerous. While incarcerated, YESS decided to capture the streets in a different way, by putting his lifestyle on paper. Writing became a way of life and a way of survival. Becoming a self made man whose identity will only be known by those who choose to listen to the true message of life………. Once YESS was released, he hit the studio with enthusiasm, spitting knowledge over tracks with an attitude. His delivery is strong, hard hitting and powerful, embracing a swagger that is all his own—sexy and **. (Well ya know what I mean!!) Inspired by the greats such as the late Tupac and Notorious Big, Jay-Z, Snoop Dog, Nas, OutKast and Scarface, YESS is bound to make his mark on the industry with intensity, flair and pure raw lyrical skills and content. Wake Up Hip Hop!!! YESS is here to capture your undivided attention. He will be breaking ground with the best of them in the game – 50 Cent, Common, Kanye West, Mos Def and earning his ranks within the fraternal mix because…… “God So Loved Hip Hop That He Gave You ME”—YES.
